Your attendance either in person or by proxy at the May 16th meeting is extremely important. Included in this mailout is a proxy letter for those of you who anticipate not being able to attend the meeting.
You are asked to designate someone who will be attending the meeting to vote either your approval or disapproval regarding any business that comes before the Association. If you wish you may designate an officer of the HOA as your proxy. The proxy letter may be hand delivered by your designee the night of the meeting. It may also be returned to the Oakbrook Chase Homeowners Association at Post Office Box 175, Alpha, Oh 45385 or a scanned copy may be E-mailed to the HOA President no later than May 15, 2013.
The agenda for the meeting will include the election of a Secretary and Vice-President to serve for the next two years. There will be a President’s Report highlighting actions taken during the year on behalf of the HOA. There will be a Treasurer’s Report showing expenses incurred by the HOA in the past year and the 2013-2014 FY budget. The Maintenance Committee and Beautification Committee will present reports.
Time will be available to discuss other concerns members might want to bring before the HOA. Beth Weiss (HOA Communications Officer) wants to remind all HOA members that Oakbrook Chase HOA has an on-line presence for neighborhood communication and announcements. The HOA website is www.oakbrookchase.com.
There is a Yahoo! Group that is open to homeowners and residents. There is a link to subscribe on the HOA homepage. If you are new to Oakbrook Chase please take time to join the group. Be sure to include your name and address in the E-mail.
Please plan to attend the meeting or designate someone as your proxy so the business of the HOA may be accomplished.
