Saturday, September 15, 2012: HOA Picnic

Our Annual Oakbrook Block Party is scheduled for Saturday, September 15, in the Oakbrook cul-de-sac.  The Block Party will start at 4pm .

Please bring your own meat to grill (grills will be provided), buns, plates/utensils, and drinks, lawn chairs as well as a side dish to share with all.

We have several new neighbors to the OC and want to make sure everyone is aware of the Block Party. If you have a new neighbor could you please let them know about our Block Party, it's possible not everyone's email is on our current list.

Attached is a flyer that perhaps you could print out and have your kids run around the neighborhood and distribute, especially to new neighbors.

This marks the end of summer, but hopefully not the end to seeing everyone thoughout the winter. We will have upcoming social events that hopefully all will have the opportunity to take part!...... coming soon!

The OC Golf Tournament is being combined this year with 10th Annual McKeever & Niekamp Golf Outing.  This is hosted by our own OC neighbors, Larry and Mandy McKeever, to benefit The Children's Medical Center of Dayton.

Flamingo Parties:

We have "Flamingo Parties" nearly every Friday night from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day.  Flamingo parties are get togethers held from 7pm - 9pm (or later:-) in one of the six neighborhood cul-de-sacs.  Everyone brings a snack to share, their own beverages and lawn chairs.  It is a great way to get to know your neighbors.  Just look for the sign at the front entrance to the neighborhood each week to tell you what cul-de-sac that week's party will be in...then look for the pink flamingos at that cul-de-sac.  Enjoy!

Golf:

For those of you who like golf there are quite a few people who belong to the Beavercreek Golf Club.  Many of the guys play every Saturday morning.  For those interested please contact Pat Kelly @ 427-1609 for details

Bunco: 

There is a ladies Bunco club that plays on the 2nd Monday of every month at 7 PM.  It is lots of fun!  If you like to socialize and eat this is for you!  Please contact Peggy Kelly @ 427-1609 to be added to the sub list.  We are always looking for subs.  Don't worry if you don't know how to play...if you can roll dice you can handle it!

Bridge:

The Millers and the Samuels have been playing bridge together for over 2 years and think it would be fun to have more tables once a month. Contact if you're interested in playing.
